When I retired as a humanist celebrant I thought I'd stop writing this blog, but my fascination with all things death-related prompted more posts. They're just written from a slightly different perspective, that's all. Oh, and I still do the odd one, by special request.

Last word (for now) on Jade

I've already written about Jade Goody. Now Johann Hari's written about her too. I felt inclined to cheer when I read it.

I cheered, too. And the trumpets will sound for her on the other side. Or not, as the case may be, depending on the existence of an other side, and one, at that, attended by trumpeters.

Metaphysics aside, she did die very bravely.
